The type of board that you choose will usually coincide with the style of your property. For instance, if you have a detached property with a garden in the front, then a T-Board will work great for advertising the property for sale. In fact, many residential property owners in the UK love to use T-Boards for their signage. But if you happen to have a terraced property with no garden in the front, then a V-Board may be better to use.

With our 4 state of the art INCA Spyder printers we can produce the highest quality estate agency boards on the market. Prior to print we prime all of our correx material to ensure a strong bond between the inks and the material. After print, we then run the boards through a UV drying process which increase the board’s durability dramatically, which in turn will result in a better life expectancy of your signage.
For T Boards, we heat-weld the two sheets together to create the opening down the middle for the posts, which forms a bond between the two sheets that cannot be pulled apart, which is far more superior to double sided tapes, as these can prove to become brittle whilst exposed to colder temperatures.
We have an on-site drilling and guillotine bench which insures all of the boards, slips and posts correspond exactly with each other, making the assembly of the boards effortless. For all orders we keep behind a template board to ensure the same colours are replicated on future orders and that drilling also matches up so that there are no discrepancies further on down the line.
For boards with a predominantly white design, we use our exclusive ‘grey back’ correx sheet material that has a pure white face with a dense grey back, which when the two sheets are heat welded together, totally blocks any show through of the post erected through the middle, even in the strongest sunlight. This is a problem that many agents face that have white board designs, which can make the boards look cheap, and in some cases make the text hard to read, when a shadow is casted vertically through the board due to the stake. Another major benefit is that the new correx, the heaviest in the marketplace at 700gsm, is made from fully recycled materials making it not only the best quality agency board on the market, but also the most environmentally friendly.
Posts & Fittings
At Kremer Signs, we’ll go the extra mile to make your posts look professional and attractive. Before we even create your posts, our team of graphic designers will focus on the imagery of your signage. We’ll discuss with you the text and imagery that you’d like on the sign. Do you want a simple sign with a few colours and text only? Would you rather have photos or other high-resolution imagery on it instead? Whatever visuals you need, we can apply them to the residential boards of your signs.
Of course, if you already have residential boards but require posts for them, we can supply you the posts separately. All the posts we provide will come pre-drilled or slotted to suit your residential boards, or fitted with brackets if the style you are after is a gallows post. The latter is the type of post where the sign hangs down from it, rather than have the sign drilled into the post.
A professional installation is not required. All our posts come sawed into a point at the bottom for easy installation. You can just stick the posts into the ground and secure them in the soil. For people who are not good at working with wood materials, this will be a big convenience for them. If you have a metpost, then we can supply you with a non-pointed post to accommodate it. Just let us know whether you want a pointed post before you place the order.
All posts come at an industry-standard size of 8 feet, but they can be cut down to accommodate smaller height requirements if needed. Likewise, we can also supply you with larger posts if you require them to be up to 10 feet in height. Our posts, as a standard, come with a white matt finish, but they can be painted to match your branding if required.
Everyone has their own specifications and needs for their signs, so we will do our best to accommodate them. You’ll have the chance to choose your specifications during the checkout process. Customer satisfaction is always our number one priority.
Commercial Signage
Wide range of commercial board options available, which can be produced to a custom size and style to suit the commercial property that you are selling or letting.
For commercial boards we offer 3 different type of material, and the style chosen is normal based on the location as to where the sign will be installed, and also the length of time the sign will be up for.
As a standard for most commercial boards, we use a 6mm heavyweight correx as this is the most cost effective and provides good durability. We print the board single sided and can then be erected freestanding or to a wall, and can be combined with another sheet to make up a V shape board. The size limits range from 4ft x 3ft through to 8ft x 4ft.
For properties which require something more heavy duty we would offer a 10mm Foamex board, which will be produced in the same way as a correx board, but this style can reach a maximum sheet size of 10ft x 5ft. Foamex is an economic, versatile and lightweight material. It has a smooth matt silk finish and high impact resistance.
For commercial signs that will be used for permanent use, or will be up for a long time, we would recommend a 3mm dibond sheet which will also be perfect for larger signage requirements, as the maximum sheet size can reach up to 3m x 2m. Dibond consists of two thin sheets of Aluminium enclosing a Polyethylene core. Dibond is light in weight but strong and has an extremely flat surface which make it perfect for printing directly onto.
All of our commercial board options can come predrilled if required for installation purposes, or to attach a Sold or Let By slips in the future.
Design Service
Our Design Studio is the foundation for every successful design. The final product, whether it be a ‘For Sale’ board or a fascia sign depends totally on the creative skills dedicated to designing it. Our studio is staffed by a team of professional Graphic Designers with high-tech skills and years of experience in producing eye catching and contemporary designs.
We operate using both PC’s and Apple Mac’s as well as using the latest graphic design software. We are able to receive clients images and artwork via email, USB drives and CD’s. We also have access to an extensive library covering thousands of type styles (fonts) and graphic images to give all of your design requirements its own distinctive look. From one colour through to four-colour process, we can create a design that is right for you and produce the artwork that will give your branding impact as well as a high quality finish. Our computerised Pantone colour matching system enables us to match almost any colour in the Pantone range.
• For us, the most important step is quite simply to listen to you. It is only by understanding your aspirations and considering any existing styles, logos and colour schemes, that we can begin applying ideas to an otherwise blank sheet.
• The creative stage. Our designers use your brief as the basis for a brainstorming session in order to come up with a range of ideas. Visuals are the supplied to you in a PDF format.
• Decision time! You may opt for just one of our designs or you may even decide to emply a ‘mix and match’ of the submitted designs. Only when you are happy with your designs, do we then move forward to produce your order.
Recycling Scheme
Largest producer of estate agents boards in the UK, producing almost 1,000,000 boards each year. After many years of development work with our key material suppliers, we now have a tried and tested fluted board that is not only made from recycled plastic, but a board that after many uses can be returned to us for recycling.
We have almost zero waste when our sheet is manufactured with all off cuts being reprocessed.
When our boards are recycled, the higher grade pellets are used to produce our recycled sheet. Lower grade pellets are used to make items such as garden planters and furniture, compost bins and vehicle parts including car bumpers. It is also used to manufacture the dreaded speed bumps.
During the recycling process, the PP granules are re-heated to 400 degrees, unlike other plastics PP does not give off toxic gases during the process.
It is accepted that polypropylene can be recycled up to 4 times before there is a negative impact on the materials structure.

This is a service that we offer to all of our clients; if we are delivering boards on our own transport, we will collect any waste boards from your board erector during the delivery, to ensure the end of life boards avoid landfill.
